We were overwhelmed by the original scope of work suggested by We Inspect who tested the house and the amount that would cost us. Jeff came down to our house after the initial person from Home Cleanse came and he reassessed what was important for us to do. This was to be our third attempt at remediation, the original company we worked with from New Jersey fell short in the thoroughness of their work, but Jeff impressed us as being knowledgeable and thorough, pinpointing what seemed to be the key areas to address. He came back down to instruct the remediation team before they started and to talk with the HVAC people (we are replacing all our HVAC) and our general contractor. The Home Cleanse remediation team completed the job in the timeframe they gave us and have left the house clean. We do not yet have the results from retesting the house so, as yet, we cannot comment on whether the problem has been finally dealt with. As anyone who has or is going through dealing with a mold problem knows, this is extremely upsetting and stressful. The impact on my husband's health, the turmoil of having our house pulled apart and the cost have all been significant. However, I feel if Home Cleanse had been the original company we had worked with, we would not have gone through multiple remediations and would have been properly advised from the outset about everything that had to be done.

After assessing the situation, he actually told us that remediation wasn't necessary and gave us detailed instructions on what to do instead. He did all of this (filter change and shower situation) free of charge. After weeks of interviewing companies and debating over financial concerns, HomeCleanse was the obvious choice. Being referred to as the "luxury" mold cleanse company in the mold remediation space, it sounded like a deterrent at first but with time I realized what this mold consultant meant. He meant they were priced in alignment with their skillset and knowledge. He meant they were expensive for a reason. (In my opinon you pay for what you get & with my extreme case due to medical, I was willing to select HomeCleanse.) At first I thought it was an expensive job however after feeling empowered throughout the entire process both pre & post remediation to then seeing the level of detail that goes into mold remediation, I have to say, they could easily charge more. HomeCleanse is the best choice in my opinion for the depth of knowledge they have, THE EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE that they provide, the immediacy that they take pride in, and the quality of work that goes into their remediation jobs. Aside from making my home completely clear of mold on the first attempt (unlike many other remediators) they guided me in every aspect of my journey with mold illness and damage to my unit. While they dont provide consulting on illness, they are adapt at the conditions and resulting symptoms that can result. This is not a common practice amongst remediators but the holistic approach that was provided to me as a customer was exceptional. I was put at ease even at the start before I hired them. All of the work that they did was careful and thorough. The team sent onsite was professional, knowledgeable, and well-qualified for the work. The team was also wonderful about treating our home as though it were their own, careful not to damage anything inadvertently. All of this is wonderful, but the AAR team went above and beyond. Even after their work was done (and the followup testing showed the areas they treated were completely resolved!), they were very happy to get on the phone and help walk us through a much smaller remediation project that we needed to undertake in the first floor of our home.
