For those that can’t move out of a home contaminated with mold, remediation will be required. Look for companies that can hit these three steps:

• Remove the colony
• Correct the situation that allowed for mold in the first place (like humidity levels)
• Remove the contamination created by the sources (as much mold, bacteria, and toxins present as possible)

The goal of a remediation company should be to help people; lessening that toxic load one step at a time. We discuss how to find a company that will do the job properly the first time. It’s your health on the line, so you deserve someone with your best interests at heart.

Mold remediation in general is very circumstantial. Just because you have one way that works for someone doesn’t mean it will work for someone else.
